I ordered a taxi through the app the night before I needed an early morning lift. Got there 5 minutes early and no taxi showed up up to 10 minutes past the booked time so I called the company to order a new one - the receiver was rude and short.
The driver was on-time and did an excellent job of getting us to the airport on time.
The car was large enough to take my family + suitcases and was clean and not smelly. The driver was very professional and did a good job navigating us around heavy Vancouver traffic.
The fare was higher than our estimate (I am sure for good reasons). But, if one is traveling from overseas and trying to make sure that one has enough cash left for the fare (without wanting to take home too much CAD), the gap between the estimate and reality makes it hard to plan.

He kept the changes in a way that it is a "Must" that he get gratuity (I paid 300 CAD for the journey in addition to the 15 CAD I lost due to unnecessary exchange of money, which means that I paid around 37 CAD over the actual meter-price).
It's amazing that the drivers of this company expects gratuity, where they don't even help to load the bags in the car (based on another experience two days later, same way also with the change). It would be nice to instruct your drivers to give back the exact change and leave the decision about gratuity to the guest, such things never happens in western European countries. Gratuity is a compensation for a decent service. It's sad that the only negative experience I had in Whistler was related to your service.
