Nicaragua Escapades was an exceptional and safe way to travel Nicaragua and see the sights
The drivers were extremely nice, and happy to point out facts and landmarks as we made our way from Managua to Grenada, and then on to Leon. A very safe and affordable way to travel in Nicaragua and I cannot rate Nicaragua Escapades high enough.
Everything else but our driver. We felt very mislead in the details of our trip. Had the company been upfront with us, we would have canceled the service. We ventured off the beaten path on a very bumpy road for a half hour to a tiny town, spent a half hour lost trying to find a couple who was getting picking up (I was nauseous and in tears at this point), then spent a half hour getting back to the main road. This was a HUGE contrast from - you'll be stopping along the way to pick up another couple.
We had a free transfer from Managua to Granada at the airport, but chose this service to save hassle and time. What a joke. The trip took us over 4 hours!! We should have received a reduced fair or at the very least an apology, but recieved nothing. I wouldn't recommend them at all.
Fast, easy and affordable transportation. Driver came into airport to find me and carried my bags for me. Driver was super nice and polite. I felt safe.
Vehicle wasn't a van as advertised and the driver was changed at the last minute to one who didn't speak very much English. the original driver I was told spoke fluent English. I would still use the company again though.
