This was a shared rate transfer. We were at the cruise port in Civitavecchia needing a transfer to the airport in Rome. We have used transfer services all over the world (and also on this same route previously). Transfer time is approx. 45 minutes - giving us the requisite 3 hours needed to check in to Rome. After the driver picked us up, he told us that he had to go to another terminal to pick up one passenger. We were amazed. This has never happened before. It took 15 more minutes to get to the other ship to pick up the passenger. The passenger did not disembark while the 5 of us waited impatiently in the van. 20 more minutes elaspsed. Since the driver had disappeared looking for the passenger, we called the company. They then called the driver who told them that the passenger was having trouble with "the government" while trying to disembark. They said that they would call us back and relay the information to us - which they never did. We had to call them back again and this is when we found out what was happening. We told them that we needed to leave NOW. We were already 45 minutes late in the transfer and should have already been at the airport at this time! Finally the "passenger" came off the ship and it turned out to be a girlfriend of a crew member who took their time coming to the car, having one last kiss, before entering the vehicle. We were livid. The driver did try to hurry to the airport as we were so angry at this entire fiasco. In short, we did make the plane, but with only 15 minutes to boarding after getting thru all the different steps of Rome security. Too close to call because of this poor decision to go to a different place to pick up another passenger. The company had our time schedule, but failed to place importance upon it as they set us back one full hour until we even departed. Be warned. NEVER use this company. International flights are too difficult to reschedule because of a third-party failure to adequately perform.

We apologize for the happening, but as you say it seems a bit exaggerated denigrate our company for some other person sins,
1 You have booked a shared transport service and it is normal that there are other people and not all come out at the same time even though the schedule is the same. We've come before you and then the driver took you to Celebrity Cruise ship that was about 500meters away from your ship (even walking it takes 15 minutes).
2 We try to do our best for all customers, when you has called us we immediately phoned the driver asking for an explanation and he told us that the customer had told him that he had a problem with the document and that she would dropped in 5 minutes. At that point we told you what we were told. Only when she has disembarking us like you, we realized that it was the girlfriend of one of the crew and that therefore he had lied to us about the problem with its document
3 I assure you that if we had known the truth right from the start we would not even wait a minute for her that was just a liar, and God only knows what she was doing, but the problem with the document. This just because we care for all our customers and we try to do everything for everyone, but unfortunately this time we are concerned about the wrong person with his misconduct has harmed both we and you.
The driver was courteous, friendly, came early, and was a safe driver. Before the trip, we were sent his picture, phone number. and email address. A very impressive company at a very impressive price.
Driver Marco was on time, friendly, helpful with luggage etc, much better than our experience earlier on trip from hotel to Civitavecchia with your company.
