Experience was more than expected.
Driver was there 15 minutes before scheduled departure time which allowed for loading luggage.
Expected a minivan but got a much larger van. It was comfortable. However it was a little higher to get in and my mother is handicapped. The driver made sure to assist her getting in and out of the van.

This was a terrible experience.
The car looked clean, though I did not ride in it to find out.
The driver arrived with a booster seat instead of a rear facing infant car seat as I had requested when I booked the ride. My husband and I told him that our child was under 2 years old and not only wouldn’t be safe in that car seat, but it is against Florida state law for him to ride in that seat. The driver then became offended and stated that he was a safe driver and tried to convince us to use the seat. We declined the ride and called a different taxi service from our hotel, a service which was easily able to meet our needs for a safe rear facing car seat. When I called to complain to the service dispatcher, I was not issued a refund and was told it was completely my fault because the emailed booking confirmation stated “car seat,” not infant seat. He stated that I should have called to confirm what they meant by car seat. When I originally booked the ride I had stated twice that my son was under two and needed a rear facing car seat. Not only was the man who answered my call rude, but he raised his voice over the phone at me and said “it is not going to happen. No refund. You should have called when the confirmation did not say baby seat.” He was incredibly unprofessional. I have never been treated this way by a business before and highly recommend that other parents looking for a ride with a car seat of any kind for their child use a different ride service. There is no guarantee that you will get the accommodation you need from VIP Transportation, and you will have already paid for their poor service.
